Fish Radich
Originally from Taranaki and now based in Hawke’s Bay Fish Radich is an artist working to enhance physical spaces and shift perspectives through the lens of his wood-based structures. With an intrinsic curiosity for the meaning in human experience, he is led by his desire to touch the core of human feelings, and extend that space for other people to do the same. Each work that he creates, Fish pursues the balance of form and function, and a manifestation of wonderment and trust.

Fish Radich’s work Walk With Me comprises two abstracted human forms positioned at a distance, connected not by touch but by presence. Though physically separated, the space between them becomes active, creating a felt field of energy, attention, and potential. The figures are headless, directing focus away from identity and toward the body’s deeper intelligence. Each holds a strong, open heart-centre, with arms gently extended as if ready to embrace, not grasping, but available. Scaled larger than life, they stand with quiet power, offering a sense of stability, vulnerability, and invitation. Their form is constructed from simple, relatable geometry, woven into a spiralling structure that echoes DNA, a reference to our shared origins and fundamental interconnectedness. Together, the two figures create a dialogue across space, suggesting that connection does not require proximity, only presence.
