Oliver Stretton-Pow
Oliver Stretton-Pow grew up in the Bay of Islands before travelling to the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. He graduated from Art School in Perth in 1992 and completed his MFA at Elam in 2004. In 2005 he relocated his studio to Waiheke Island, and since then has had regular solo exhibitions and contributed to many significant indoor and outdoor shows including Sculpture by the Sea (Sydney), Sculpture in the Gardens and NZ Sculpture on Shore. In 2024 Stretton-Pow’s major work Hard Graft won the Sculpture on the Gulf People’s Choice Award. Oliver he lives and works on Waiheke island.
